Russia's not a bad country right?
Recently me and my friends got into a heated argument over Russia not being a bad country. I was adopted from Russia and i insist it's not a bad country. They are saying its so bad and third world. They said its almost all terrible and poverty stricken, like Botswania or whatever they saw in a movie. I keep telling them evry country has bad and good parts, even the U.S. has bad areas like Detroit. Russia's mostly good, they insist it is mostly bad. I think they are saying this becasue they were born in the Unitied States and think the U.S. is better which i agree to but i know for a fact Russia is still a superpower, can someone back me up on this? Also i agree on one thing about Russia, it is kind of run down, they have a lot of communist era apartment building blocks and all the old cars, planes and fighter jets we don't need anymore we send overseas to them. But this is the inferstructure being dated not the country itself, the people are good people even if it was communist, that has nothing to do with the majority of the population its a few powerful people on the top calling the shots. I just can't bring myself to say bad things about the country i was born in though i am extremely grateful to be in the United States as my life here is better than it would be there. Is it just that the rich and the poor gap is much wider there? Or does it have to do with the rich here being considered SUPER rich over there?
