Chapter three makes consideration on the methods that used to execute the dissertation. It includes Research philosophy with other related philosophies such as positive or scientific and interpretivist or antipositivist. Research strategy, research approaches and the instrument developed in the research and the utilised way in accomplishing the goals and objectives. The research approach used to conduct this thesis is a quantitative methodological approach which is the sub category major two research approaches of qualitative research /inductive approach and quantitative research/deductive approaches. A Taxonomy of Research strategy is cover large assortment such as survey research, Laboratory Experiments research , case studies ,Field Experiments, Action Research etc. and the rationale behind the to select research strategy as the case study research and survey research as a part of Scientific/Positivist and Interpretivist/Anti-positivist have been discussed. Structured questionnaires were distributed in total of fifty (50) customers as a part of research methods to collect primary data and the author was able to retrieve thirty five (35) out of the fifty (50) questionnaires by indicating effective respond rate of 70%. Sampling method was Convenience sampling which is non-probability sampling technique most commonly. In addition to that as a part of primary data collection; two conscientious interviews sessions had with Personal Banker In-charge at Upton Park and NRI Specialist at Barking Side also analysed.
